Dr. Sophie Seo received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology at the University of Toronto. She then attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where she received her Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery. Afterward, Dr. Seo completed a general practice residency program in New York City, where she practiced dentistry for 3 years. Dr. Seo also has a background in research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Asthma and Allergy Department, in Maryland. She also partook in numerous community service activities, where she provided dental care for patients living in underprivileged areas.

Dr. Seo enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry but has particular interest in cosmetics. She is also extremely patient with children and adults who may be anxious getting dental treatment. Dr. Seo has completed numerous advanced postgraduate courses in fields such as invisible orthodontics (Invisalign) and advanced esthetic techniques (Lumineers and veneers). Dr. Seo takes pride in her ability to make patients feel comfortable in the chair and has had many patients compliment her gentle hands. She feels grateful to have the opportunity to help people gain confidence in their smiles and looks forward to sharing her expertise and gentle, kind manner with you and your family.

In her spare time, Dr. Seo enjoys going out to see movies, eating out, fishing, traveling, designing jewelery, and spending time with her family and friends. She also speaks fluent Korean and some Spanish.
